Abraham Lincoln was the 16th President of the United States, who led the United States through the bloodiest time - its Civil War. On Wednesday 16/09/15 Marya and Paul hold the meeting dedicated to this great personality who abolished slavery, strengthened the federal government, and modernized the economy. The club members learnt also about the childhood, early career and presidency of ‘Honest Abe’. Besides, working in pairs, they discussed his inspirational quotations and Marya worked on improving the pronunciation of the club members with the help of tongue-twisters.
